1. What these Terms govern
1.1 These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the use of the CZ CLUB online platform (the “Platform”). By accepting them, you enter into a contract with CZ for the provision of a digital service.
1.2 The Platform is technically operated for us by suppliers acting as our personal data processors.
1.3 How we process your personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy – CZ Club (the “Privacy Policy”) available at https://club.czfirearms.com/en/legal/privacy.
1.4 You can contact us through the Support section directly on the Platform, by email at info@czub.cz, by phone at +420 771 514 600 or by post at our registered office address.
1.5 Single point of contact. The email address info@czub.cz serves as the single point of contact for communication with Member State authorities, the European Commission and users under Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on a Single Market for Digital Services (Digital Services Act). You may communicate with us in Czech or English.
1.6 Technical requirements. To use the Platform, you need a device with an up-to-date version of a common web browser, an internet connection and a mobile phone capable of receiving text messages (SMS) with a verification code.
2. Definitions
2.1 In these Terms, the following terms have the meanings set out below.
▶ Account – your personal user account on the Platform.
▶ User or you – a natural person who meets the age limit under Article 5.1 and has set up an Account.
▶ Product – a firearm, accessory or other product manufactured or supplied by CZ under its brands.
▶ Serial Number – the serial number of a Product assigned by the manufacturer.
▶ Warranty Terms – the separate terms of the commercial warranties provided by CZ, including the Lifetime Barrel Warranty.
2.2 If you use the Platform as a consumer, you are entitled to all the protection afforded to consumers by law. Nothing in these Terms limits that protection.
3. Subject matter of the service
3.1 The Platform is a free digital service for owners of CZ Products. It allows you to:
▶ create and manage an Account;
▶ register Products you own, including their Serial Number;
▶ keep a shooting log;
▶ activate the Lifetime Barrel Warranty;
▶ access content such as user manuals, catalogues and news;
▶ contact our customer support;
▶ subscribe to the newsletter.
3.2 The Platform is not used for the sale of firearms, ammunition or essential firearm components. No orders can be placed through it. Products may only be purchased from authorised dealers in accordance with the law of the place of purchase.
3.3 Registering a Product on the Platform is voluntary. It does not replace any of your obligations under Czech Act No. 90/2024 Coll., on Firearms and Ammunition, or under the law of your country, such as obligations relating to licences, registration, notification or safe storage. CZ does not act as a public authority when processing a registration.
3.4 The Platform is available to users from various countries. When using it, comply with the laws of the country in which you use the Platform, in particular laws on firearms, ammunition and their transport. Where required by law, including international sanctions and export control regulations, we may restrict access to the Platform or to some of its features or content in certain countries. This does not affect your rights under Article 2.2.
3.5 Use of the Platform is free of charge. You only bear the costs of your own internet connection.
4. Registration and conclusion of the contract
4.1 The contract is concluded electronically in the following steps:
1. You enter your phone number, to which a verification code will be sent once you confirm.
2. After you enter the verification code, a registration form opens in which you fill in your first name and surname, email address and date of birth.
3. You read these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy and confirm your acceptance of the Terms by ticking the box provided for that purpose.
4. At your discretion, you may subscribe to the newsletter by clicking “I want to receive news and offers from CZ Club”.
5. Before submitting, you can review and correct the data you have entered. You submit the form by clicking the “Create account” button.
4.2 The contract is concluded at the moment the form is submitted in accordance with step 5.
4.3 These Terms are permanently available at https://club.czfirearms.com/en/legal/terms in a form that allows them to be stored and reproduced. We archive the concluded contract, i.e. the version of the Terms you accepted and the time of acceptance, for the duration of the contract and for the period stated in the Privacy Policy.
4.4 The contract may be concluded in Czech or English.
4.5 Provide true and up-to-date information when registering and keep it up to date.
4.6 CZ is not bound by any additional code of conduct in relation to the Platform.
5. Age limit
5.1 The Platform is intended only for persons aged 18 or over. If the law of the country of your habitual residence sets a higher age of majority, you must have reached that age.
5.2 By registering, you declare that you meet the age limit under Article 5.1. In the event of reasonable doubt, we may ask you for reasonable confirmation of your age.
5.3 A false declaration of age is a material breach of these Terms. In such a case, we will suspend and cancel the Account in accordance with Article 14. We will delete the personal data of a person who does not meet the age limit without undue delay, except for data that we are required to retain by law.
6. Free digital service and your statutory rights
6.1 Our contract is governed by the provisions on digital content and digital services in the Czech Civil Code (Section 2389a et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll.) and other consumer protection laws.
6.2 We will provide the Platform to you in conformity with the contract. This means it will have the characteristics, functionality, compatibility, accessibility and security described in these Terms and those that can reasonably be expected.
6.3 If the Platform is defective, you have the rights provided by law, in particular the right to have the defect remedied free of charge within a reasonable time and, in the cases provided by law, the right to withdraw from the contract.
6.4 You can report a defect to info@czub.cz or through the Support section on the Platform. Please describe the defect and how it manifests itself. We will confirm receipt of your report and inform you of the outcome within a reasonable time.
6.5 If you withdraw from the contract due to a defect, then upon your request sent through the Support section or by email to info@czub.cz, we will make available to you, free of charge and in a commonly used, machine-readable format, any content other than personal data that you provided or created on the Platform, unless such content has no utility outside the Platform, relates exclusively to your activity when using the Platform, has been aggregated by us with other data and cannot be disaggregated, or has been generated jointly by you and others who can continue to make use of it. We will handle personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
6.6 Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under this Article.
7. Product registration and warranties
7.1 You may register a Product that you own or lawfully possess. For registration, we need the Product model, the Product serial number, the date and place of purchase and the proof of purchase.
7.2 In the event of reasonable doubt about a registration, we may verify the authenticity of the proof of purchase with the dealer.
7.3 If you transfer ownership of a Product, ask us to remove its registration from your Account through the Support section or by email at info@czub.cz, or remove the registration yourself in your Account if this feature is available. The effects of the transfer on the warranty are governed by the Warranty Terms.
7.4 The Lifetime Barrel Warranty and other commercial warranties are governed exclusively by the Warranty Terms available, for the United States, at https://www.czfirearms.com/en-us/warranty and, for all other countries, at https://www.czfirearms.com/lifetime-barrel-warranty. The Platform is used to register Products and to activate the Lifetime Barrel Warranty under the conditions set out in the Warranty Terms. Neither registering a Product nor activating the Lifetime Barrel Warranty constitutes a claim for defects (rights arising from defective performance) or a warranty claim; warranty claims are made in accordance with the Warranty Terms, and claims for defects may be exercised against the seller as set out in Article 7.5. You can send us any questions about the Warranty Terms through the Support section.
7.5 The commercial warranty does not affect your statutory rights arising from defective performance, which you can exercise against the seller of the Product independently of the warranty.
8. Your Account
8.1 Each person may have only one Account. The Account is personal and non-transferable.
8.2 You log in by entering your registered phone number and then entering the verification code.
8.3 If you suspect misuse of your Account, notify us without undue delay at info@czub.cz or through the Support section. We will take the necessary measures.
8.4 You are responsible for actions taken under your Account to the extent attributable to you, in particular if you have disclosed your login details or failed to exercise reasonable care. You are not responsible for misuse caused by a security incident on our side or for misuse occurring after your notification under Article 8.3, unless you caused it yourself.
9. Rules of use
9.1 When using the Platform, you must not:
(a) provide a false identity, register a Product that you neither own nor lawfully possess, or upload a forged or altered proof of purchase;
(b) access another user’s Account or attempt to obtain another person’s login details;
(c) circumvent or, without our permission, test the Platform’s security measures, or overload the Platform (e.g. through a denial-of-service attack);
(d) upload or distribute malicious code;
(e) access the Platform using automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) or systematically extract its content beyond normal personal use;
(f) use the Platform to offer, sell, buy or broker firearms, ammunition, essential firearm components or other items whose sale is regulated, or to arrange such transactions between users;
(g) share instructions for unlawful modifications of firearms, in particular conversion to fully automatic fire, removal or alteration of serial numbers or markings, or unlawful manufacture of essential components;
(h) send unsolicited advertising or spam;
(i) infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy or personal data of others, in particular by publishing other people’s serial numbers, addresses or firearms licence details;
(j) threaten others, incite violence or hatred, or harass other users;
(k) impersonate CZ, its employees or authorised dealers;
(l) decompile or reverse engineer the Platform, except where permitted by law.
9.2 In the event of a breach of these rules, we may take measures under Article 14.
9.3 Notice of illegal content. If you come across content on the Platform that you consider illegal or contrary to these Terms, notify us through the Support section or at info@czub.cz. State your reasons, the exact location of the content, your name and email address (except for notices concerning certain criminal offences) and a statement that you are submitting the notice in good faith. We will assess the notice without undue delay, objectively and not solely by automated means, and will inform you of the outcome. We review content manually; we do not use automated content moderation tools.
10. Newsletter
10.1 We only send newsletters and other commercial communications in accordance with the Privacy Policy if you have subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each message or in your Account settings, where you can also subscribe again. Unsubscribing does not affect your Account.
11. Intellectual property
11.1 The Platform and its content, such as texts, user manuals, catalogues, photographs, videos, software, graphic design and databases, are protected in particular by Czech Act No. 121/2000 Coll., the Copyright Act, and by trade mark law. The trade marks and designations of CZ and its Products belong to CZ or its licensors.
11.2 For the duration of the contract, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to use the Platform and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes. In particular, you may view the content, download user manuals and catalogues and print them for your own use.
11.3 You must not systematically extract or re-utilise the content or databases of the Platform, publish its content elsewhere, remove copyright notices or use CZ trade marks without our consent.
11.4 Statutory exceptions and limitations, such as use for personal purposes or quotation, are not affected.
12. Availability and changes to the Platform
12.1 We strive to keep the Platform continuously available but do not guarantee it. We may interrupt its operation for maintenance, which we will announce in advance where possible, or to deal with a security incident.
12.2 We will inform you of updates necessary to keep the Platform in conformity with the contract.
12.3 We may make other changes to the Platform, such as adding or removing features, for a valid reason, in particular technical development, changes in legislation, security, development or reorganisation of services or operational needs, at no cost to you and with clear information. If a change has more than a minor negative impact on your access to or use of the Platform, we will notify you of it in advance by email, together with information about your right to terminate the contract. You may then terminate the contract free of charge within 30 days of the change being made. You do not have this right if we allow you to continue using the Platform in its original form at no additional cost.
13. Liability
13.1 We are liable for damage in accordance with the law.
13.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for harm to life, bodily integrity or health, damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, your rights arising from defective performance, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law, in particular consumer protection law.
13.3 Within the limits of Article 13.2, we are not liable for damage caused by your breach of these Terms or of the user manual, or by events beyond our control that we could not have prevented. We recommend that you regularly back up the data you keep on the Platform, in particular your shooting log entries; whether you could have prevented the loss of data by making a backup may affect the extent of compensation for such loss.
13.4 The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content. If we find that a link leads to illegal content, we will remove it without undue delay.
13.5 Users outside Europe. If your habitual residence is outside the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the following also applies to the extent permitted by the mandatory law of your country of residence and without prejudice to Article 13.2: (a) we provide the Platform free of charge “as is” and “as available”, without any express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose; (b) we are not liable for loss of profit or for indirect or consequential damage; (c) our total liability under the contract is limited to USD 100.
14. Suspension and cancellation of the Account
14.1 Your right to cancel the Account. You may cancel your Account at any time, without giving any reason and without any penalty, by sending a request through the Support section or by email to info@czub.cz, or directly in your Account settings. We will cancel the Account without undue delay and confirm the cancellation to you by email. The contract terminates upon cancellation of the Account.
14.2 Right to withdraw from the contract. As a consumer, you may also withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason (Section 1829 of the Civil Code). You can achieve the same effect by cancelling your Account under Article 14.1. You can send us your withdrawal by email to info@czub.cz or through the Support section on the Platform. In your withdrawal, please state your first name and surname and the email address you provided at registration. The deadline is met if you send the withdrawal before it expires. From 1 January 2027, you may also withdraw from the contract using the “Withdraw from contract” button in your Account settings; we will confirm receipt of the withdrawal by email.
14.3 Our reasons. We may suspend or cancel an Account in particular for the following reasons:
(a) a false declaration of age or identity;
(b) a serious or repeated breach of Article 9;
(c) registration of a Product using a forged proof of purchase or a serial number that does not belong to you;
(d) a security threat, such as a compromised Account or an attack on the Platform;
(e) a legal obligation, including an obligation arising from international sanctions, or a decision of a public authority;
(f) prolonged inactivity under Article 14.5;
(g) discontinuation of the Platform.
14.4 Proportionality. We apply measures diligently, objectively and proportionately, with due regard to the rights and legitimate interests of all parties involved.
14.5 Statement of reasons. We will inform you by email of the suspension or cancellation of your Account no later than at the time it takes effect and give you the reasons, unless prevented by law or a decision of a public authority. You may challenge the decision by lodging a complaint under Article 16.1.
14.6 Inactivity. If you do not log in for 36 months, we may cancel your Account; we will notify you of this by email at least 30 days in advance. You can keep your Account simply by logging in.
14.7 Consequences of cancellation. Upon cancellation of the Account, your access ends and we will handle your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Cancellation of the Account does not affect your warranty rights; we retain records of registered Products and activated warranties for the period stated in the Privacy Policy.
14.8 Termination by us. We may terminate the contract even without giving a reason, in particular if the Platform is discontinued. The notice period is one month and begins when the notice is delivered to your email address. During the notice period, upon your request sent through the Support section or by email to info@czub.cz, we will provide you free of charge with the data you created on the Platform, in particular your shooting log entries, in a commonly used, machine-readable format; if an export feature is available, you may also download them yourself.
15. Changes to the Terms
15.1 We may change the Terms only for the following reasons: a change in legislation or a decision of a public authority; the introduction, change or removal of Platform features; security reasons; clarification of wording without changing rights and obligations; expansion of the Platform to new markets or languages.
15.2 We will notify you of a change by email or by a message on the Platform at least 30 days before it takes effect. The notice will contain a description of the changes and a link to the new version.
15.3 You have the right to reject the change and to terminate the contract free of charge at any time before the change takes effect.
15.4 Your consent to a change cannot be inferred merely from the publication of the change on the Platform. If you do not reject the change after receiving the email notice under Article 15.2, which expressly informs you of your right to reject the change, the change will take effect on its effective date.
15.5 If the law requires a change to be made within a shorter period, we may shorten the period accordingly.
16. Complaints, governing law and disputes
16.1 Complaints. You can send complaints concerning the Platform through the Support section or by email to info@czub.cz. We will handle them without undue delay.
16.2 Governing law. The contract is governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer with your habitual residence in another country, you retain the protection afforded to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of that country (Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, Rome I).
16.3 Courts. If you are resident in an EU Member State, the jurisdiction of courts is governed by Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels I bis). As a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts of the country of your residence or of the country where CZ has its registered office. If you are resident in an EU Member State, we may bring proceedings against you only before the courts of the country of your residence. If you are resident in Switzerland, Norway or Iceland, the jurisdiction of courts is governed by the Convention on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters (the 2007 Lugano Convention), which contains similar rules. If you are resident in another country outside the EU, the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction to decide disputes arising from the contract, unless the mandatory laws of your country of residence or an international treaty provide otherwise; this does not affect your right to bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence where those laws grant you such a right.
16.4 Out-of-court dispute resolution. As a consumer, you may submit a dispute arising from the contract for out-of-court resolution to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic, coi.gov.cz/en, under Section 20d et seq. of Czech Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection. The application must be submitted no later than one year from the date on which you first exercised your right with us. Consumers from other EU Member States may also contact the European Consumer Centre in their country. Consumers from countries outside the EU may also use the out-of-court remedies available to them under the law of their country.
17. Final provisions
17.1 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is invalid or ineffective, the remaining provisions are not affected. The relevant statutory provisions will apply in place of the invalid provision.
17.2 Electronic communication. We communicate with you by email at the address stated in your Account and through the Support section on the Platform. An email is delivered at the moment it reaches your mailbox. You can contact us at info@czub.cz.
17.3 Assignment of the contract. We may assign the contract to a company within the Colt CZ Group SE group, with its registered office at náměstí Republiky 2090/3a, 110 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic, or to another person that takes over the operation of the Platform and all our obligations, without reducing your rights. We will inform you of this in advance; you may terminate the contract free of charge. You may not assign the contract, as the Account is personal.
17.4 Language versions. These Terms are issued in Czech and English. In the event of any discrepancy, the language version in which you concluded the contract prevails.
17.5 Previous terms. For users who accepted a previous version of the Platform terms, these Terms apply following notification under Article 15 or from the moment they actively accept them.
17.6 Previous versions are available on request at info@czub.cz.
17.7 Effective date. These Terms take effect on 7 October 2026.
Effective from October 15, 2026
